What do you get when you cross a yurt, an accordion and a wonderful day to remember? James and Sophie’s wedding day!

We had the pleasure of being the wedding photographers on their big day at Thorpe Gardens in Tamworth. The flowers, the gardens and the vintage aesthetic all provided numerous settings for those wedding day shots.

When I think accordion, I picture the cobbled streets of Paris, sitting outside on metal furniture in the late evening and a glass of wine as the streetlights come on…now I will be swapping that image for the accordion player Jonny Kerry at Thorpe Gardens in a yurt, surrounded by a wonderful couple celebrating their big day!

I have to mention the wedding speeches as one of my highlights! The father of the bride and the best man gave us a good chuckle before the groom closed the show with a deeply loving and moving speech. I won’t say that I cried, but I was glad I carry a pack of tissues with me.
